LV Training Series: „Evaluation and Assessment of Stress Results in FEM Analysis“

In this two-part training series, participants will gain a solid understanding of how to interpret and evaluate stress results obtained from Finite Element Method (FEM) analyses.

The first session introduces the fundamental principles of stress assessment in FEM, providing practical guidance on how to interpret simulation results correctly and reliably.

The advanced session builds upon this foundation and focuses on the assessment of stress results according to EN 13445, the European standard for unfired pressure vessels. Participants will learn how to apply the standard’s criteria to ensure compliance and safe, consistent design evaluation.

This knowledge is particularly valuable for users of the FE-Toolbox by Lauterbach Verfahrenstechnik GmbH, enabling them to work quickly and confidently when performing nozzle load analyses, structural integrity assessments, or fatigue evaluations.

By mastering these fundamentals, engineers can conduct FEM-based assessments efficiently and with a high level of reliability.
