AI Technology in Manufacturing

At Lauterbach Verfahrenstechnik GmbH, we embrace cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Digital Twins. Our collaboration with industry and research partners focuses on optimizing manufacturing processes using advanced software solutions.

Since 2022, when we received project funding approval under the ZIM program, enabling us to develop solutions that are versatile and applicable to a wide range of processes and manufacturing techniques.

In 2025 a new AI driven Software to optimize the welding process (Friction steer welding) and to ensure a defect free weld seam will be released to the market.

Also starting in 2025 is a new project about additive manufacturing of heat exchangers. More information will come soon.
